Small chinese lantern/winther cherry pendants in copper. It looks delicate like a chinese lantern but is durable and has a nice weight to it. It is very natural looking with weins, cracks and color variations. The shape of it is irregular one side is a little flatter. It is hollow with thick walls. Theese pendants all have a hole in them somewere, otherwise it would explode when I heat treat it. The hole is made to looks like a natural crack.

The pendants are handmade by me in my own special (secret) "casting with metal clay technique". No pendant will be exactly alike. It´s made with copperclay wich hardens and turn to solid copper when heated in a kiln to about 900 °C. The pendant is oxidised using heat to a color resembling of autumn leaves. The color is sealed with jewelers wax. Even so color will change with time when wax weres of, copper usually get a darker red color. To bring outh lighter pinkish copper color you just rub with steel whool.
